Sound from earth

Sound from Earth is an installation that amplifies low frequency sounds in the environment. The whole device contains no electronic components, but only affects the transmission of sound through the combination of geometric shapes. Thus filtering out high frequency sounds and amplifying low frequency sounds.

Through it, you can feel the vibration of the sky before thunder, or hear the very low part of natural sounds such as wind or waves. It allows everyone to connect with the 'invisible nature' of the present moment.

Nature is filled with subtle and beautiful sounds, many of which lie in the lower frequency range. While the human ear can perceive sounds as low as 20 Hz, these ambient tones often go unnoticed, quietly woven into the background of our everyday lives.

NASA is using radio antennas to detect low-frequency sounds from earth.

But what if we have radio antennas for ears?

In fact, there have been many attempts throughout history.

To amplify low-frequency sound, I created this basic form based on Helmholtz resonance.
